medcom.id, Jakarta: Director of Summarecon Agung, Adrianto Pitoyo Adhi, predicted the property business in Indonesia this year will not be better than the previous year.
The challenges faced by the sector including low public purchasing power, tax uncertainties and regulations such as loan-to-value (LTV) policy.
"We hope in 2016 (property business) can be better even though public purchasing power is still low," said Adrianto at the Indonesian Stock Exchange Building (BEI), Monday (5/9/2016).
To boost its revenue this year, Adrianto revealed Summarecon Agung will launch products for low-end market as the high-end market is still stagnant. "The products can be bought by middle-to-lower class," he added.
The company will launch three products in Serpong and Bekasi. "We hope the market can absorb our products," he concluded.
