medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah plunged against United States Dollar on Thursday (5/19/2016). According to Bloomberg, Rupiah at Rp13,565/USD at 3.59 PM Western Indonesia Time.
The currency weakened 185 points or by 1.38 percent compared with its previous close. It opened at Rp13,442 earlier.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,602/USD at 6.59 PM, 130 point weaker from its previous close.
Jakarta Interbanks Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) recorded the currency at Rp13,467/USD.
