medcom.id, Jakarta: Bloomberg showed rupiah strengthened 140 points to Rp13,611/USd on Tuesday (2/9/2016). The currency moved between Rp13,580-Rp13,754/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showe rupiah at Rp13,610/USD compared to its position in the opening at Rp13,612/USD.
Bank Indonesia recorded the currency weakened 36 points from Rp13,653/USD to Rp13,689/USD.
NH Korindo Securities Indonesia's head of research Reza Priyambada said rupiah was boosted by falling oil prices. "Additional positive sentiment from good economic growth data," he said.
