medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah was at Rp13,074 per United States (US) dollar on Friday (3/11/2016) afternoon according to data from Bloomberg, stronger than its position in the opening at Rp13,110/USD.
Data from Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,080/USD. Meanwhile, Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) recorded the currency at Rp13,087/USD.
Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) also strengthened 20.576 points or 0.429 percent to 4,813 this afternoon. LQ45 index rose 4.3 points to 838 while Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) rose 3.83 points to 653.
Consumer goods, mining and trade sectors weakened today while agriculture sector recorded the highest increase with 19.37 points.
Trade volume today reached 3.7 billion shares worth Rp5.15 trillion. 153 stocks increased, 150 stocks decreased and 95 stocks unchanged.
