medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah slightly increased against United States (US) dollar this evening.
According to Bloomberg data, Monday (1/11/2015) afternoon, rupiah increased 94 points to Rp13,861/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah in the afternoon was at Rp13,870 compared to its position in the morning at Rp13,930.
Bank Indonesia recorded rupiah weakened 61 points to Rp13,935 today.
NH Korindo Securities Indonesia's head of research Riza Priyambada said the increase of government reserve gave positive sentiment to rupiah.
"The rise of Japanese yen also gave positive sentiment to Rupiah," he said.
