medcom.id, Jakarta: Low multi-purpose vehicle (LMPV) is popular segment in Indonesia. It offers cars with huge storage capacities and affordable prices.
These are five top selling LMPV cars in the first semester of 2016, according to data from the Indonesian Automotive Association (Gaikindo).
1. Toyota Avanza
Toyota Avanza has led the segment since 2004. 67,224 units of Toyota Avanza were sold in the first semester.
2. Daihatsu Xenia
Daihatsu Xenia and Toyota Avanza are produced in the same factory. 23,963 units of Daihatsu Xenia were sold in the past six months.
3. Suzuki Ertiga
Suzuki Ertiga has to be satisfied with third place. 17,890 units were sold in the last semester.
4. Honda Mobilio
Honda Mobilio has increased Honda's market share in the segment. There were 16,352 units sold in the last semester.
5. Suzuki APV
One of the oldest players in the segment. In the past six months, 3,207 units were sold.
