medcom.id, Jakarta: Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution ad Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi lead the second high level meeting in Jakarta.
In his welcoming speech, Darmin underlined strong economic ties between Indonesia and China."I believe this discusson will produce opportunities," he said, Jakarta, Monday (5/8/2016).
Yang Jiechi mentioned that the meeting is important to build trust and establish communication between both countries. He added that his country is committed to cooperate with Indonesia in various sectors.
One of the issues discussed in the meeting is trade balance between Indonesia and China. Yang Jiechi stated the Chinese government has urged Chinese companies to import products from Indonesia.
"And we appreciate Indonesian companies that promote Chinese products here," the former Chinese foreign minister concluded.
