medcom.id, Jakarta: The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) depreciated to Rp13,570 per USD on Friday (11/25).
The central bank recorded JISDOR at Rp13,540 per USD on Thursday (11/24) and Rp13,473 per USD on Wednesday (11/23).
Meanwhile, Bloomberg showed the rupiah appreciated 33 points or 0.24 percent to Rp13,525 per USD today.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta mentioned the central bank managed to stabilize the currency market.
"Bank Indonesia intervened in market agrsesively," he stated.
