External Factors Influence Weakening of Rupiah: Sri Mulyani

medcom.id, Jakarta: Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said external factors influenced the weakening of rupiah earlier today.
 
"Regional and global sentiments influenced currency, stock and bond markets," said Sri Mulyani in Jakarta on Friday (11/11).
 
"Especially current political situation in the United States," she continued.

Sri Mulyani mentioned the government will closely monitor the financial market. The government will address rumors in the market.
 
"We will see the motives behind the rumors ," she stated.
