medcom.id, Jakarta: The House of Representatives started fit and proper tests for three Bank Indonesia (BI) deputy governor nominees on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
The three nominees are Dody Budi Waluyo, Hendi Sulistiowaty and Sugeng.
Dody currently leads BI Strategic Management and Governance Department. He joined BI in 1988.
Hendi currently leads BI Statistics department. She joined the central bank in 1985.
Meanwhile, Sugeng currently serves as BI Board of Governors expert staff. He started his career in the central bank in 1986.
President Joko Widodo proposed the three nominees to replace BI Deputy Governor Richard Waas who will retire in December 2016.
