RI's Inflation Rate Reaches 0.5% in Second Week of June: BI

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia on Friday revealed that the country's inflation rate reached 0.5 percent month-on-month at the second week of June 2017.
 
"It reached 4.17 percent year-on-year at the second week of June 2017," Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo said.
 
"It reached 4.33 percent year-on-year in the same period last month," the former finance minster added.

Bank Indonesia will cooperate with government agencies. The central bank will follow government distribution policies.
 
Bank Indonesia will monitor food prices. The central bank will observe food distribution activities.
 
"We can maintain inflation rate during Lebaran holiday," he said.
