medcom.id, Jakarta: Cabinet Secretary Pramono declined to confirm reports that President Joko Widodo will appoint definitive Energy and Mineral Resources Minister this week.
Jokowi discharged Arcandra Tahar last month due to citizenship issue. He ordered Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan to hold the position temporarily.
"It can be true. It can be false," Pramono said at the Preidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/27).
Some political observers said Jokowi will reappoint Arcandra, while other said he has alternative candidates.
The former Jakarta governor invited several energy experts to Bogor Palace last week.
