medcom.id, Jakarta: Bloomberg showed rupiah strengthened 79.5 points or 0.59 percent to Rp13,375 per United States (US) dollar on Thursday (2/11/2016). The currency moved between Rp13,342-Rp13,466/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah rose 65 points or 0.48 percent to Rp13,380/USD.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta in his research explained that the lowering of US dollar against Asian currency boosts rupiah. "Rupiah's rise is higher than other countries which reflects strong domestic condition," he said.
Moreover, the government plans to issue tenth economic policy package today that could add positive sentiment for rupiah.
