medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded that the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) appreciated by ten points on Monday, January 23, 2017.
JISDOR reached Rp13,372 per dollar today. The benchmark rupiah rate reached Rp13,382 per dollar last Friday.
"Dollar was weak after Donald Trump was inaugurated," Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said.
"Dollar was strong before the inauguration," he stated.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 3.34 points or 0.06 percent to 5,250.97 points today.
