medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah rebounded against United States (US) dollar on Monday (1/18/2016).
According Bloomberg data, rupiah increased to Rp13,905/USD this afternoon. Meanwhile, Yahoo Currency showed Rupiah declined to Rp13,925.
Bank Indonesia showed the currency weakened to Rp13,931.
Previously, NH Korindo Securities research chief Reza Priyambada said BI rate cut could give negative influence to rupiah. Although, trade surplus in 2015 is seen as positive sentiment.
