medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah slightly weakened against United States (US) dollar on Friday (2/19) afternoon.
Quoting Bloomberg data, Friday (2/19/2016), rupiah was at Rp13,508/USD this afternoon, lower than its position yesterday at Rp13,502/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,505/USD. Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) recorded the currency at Rp13,549/USD.
Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) also slumped 81.23 points or 1.7 percent to 4,697. LQ45 fell 18.40 points to 820 while JII declined 10.36 points to 631.
Most sectors were in the red zone led by infrastructure sector with 28.79 points.
Trade volume reached 3.3 billion shares worth Rp6.4 trillion. 84 stocks increased, 208 stocks decreased and 93 stocks unchanged.
