medcom.id, Singapore: Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MKP) Susi Pudjiastuti deplored that Indonesia is only third largest fishery products exporter in Asia.
"It turns out that Indonesia is only placed third in Asia as the fishery products exporter," complained Susi at the The Women Leaders Forum 2016 in Singapore last Friday (3/4), as quoted in a press statement on Sunday (3/6/2016).
Susi explained the government's action to eradicate illegal, unreported and unregulated (UU) fishing will be the beginning of competitive and sustainable fishery sector in Indonesia.
During the conference, Susi shared her experience in fighting IUU fishing. She also gave her thought about the role of woman especially in business.
The Women Leaders Forum 2016 organized by The Economist Events and held by HSBC.
