medcom.id, Jakarta: The rupiah surged against the United States (US) dollar on Friday (6/3/2016). According to Bloomberg, the rupiah was at Rp13,595/USD at 3.59 PM Western Indonesia Time.
It strengthened 48 points or by 0.35 percent compared with its previous close. It previously opened at Rp13,631/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed the rupiah at Rp13,567.5/USD at 6.35 PM, 50 point stronger from its previous close.
Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) recorded the rupiah at Rp13,612/USD.
