medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah continued to weaken against United States (US) dollar. The currency breached Rp13,900/USD level.
Quoting Bloomberg, Wednesday (1/6/2015) afternoon , rupiah was at Rp13,943/USD. While according Yahoo Finance, rupiah was at Rp13,945. Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (jisdor) showed rupiah at Rp13,863.
In contrary with rupiah, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) maintained its rise this afternoon.
JCI on Wednesday (1/6/2016) in the closing session strengthened 51.16 points or 1.12 percent to 4,608. LQ45 index rose 13.69 points to 803 while JII rose 14.97 points to 612.
Transaction vlume reached 4.1 billion shares worth Rp5.7 trillion. 151 stocks increased, 117 stocks decreased and 95 stocks unchanged.
