medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesia has filed the World Trade Organization (WTO) complaint over the European Union (EU) anti dumping duties on the country's biodiesel exports.
"The duties are very high," Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita stated in Jakarta on Monday.
"They are very objectionable," he added.
Indonesia disputed the legalities of the duties. The country also questioned the calculations of the duties.
The EU issued the duties to Indonesia in 2013. The economic bloc also introduced similar duties to Argentine in the same year.
Indonesia must face duties between 8.8 percent to 23.3 percent or EUR76.94 per tonne to EUR178.85 per tonne.
