medcom.id, Jakarta: The government will apply the closed distribution system for the subsidized 3-kg LPG cylinders in 2017.
"We will apply the system in 2017," said Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry oil and gas director general IGN Wiratmaja Puja in Jakarta on Friday (11/25).
He explained that poor citizens will receive a card. They must show the card to purchase the subsidized 3-kg LPG cylinders.
"They can purchase three cylinders per month," he continued.
The government will promote the system in January-February 2017. They will start the system in March 2017.
"We will start from the less-populated islands," he stated.
