medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded Indonesia's consumer confidence index (CCI) improved in May 2016. It increased from 109 in April to 112.1 this month.
BI recorded the highest confidence in people with income more than Rp5 million per month.
According to data at BI's official site, Wednesday, June 8, the increase influenced by positive sentiment regarding current economic conditions and future expectations.
The Economic Condition Index this month also increased 1.8 points to 96.5. Meanwhile, Consumer Expectation Index moved up 4.5 points to 127.7.
