medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesia's Central Statictics Agency (BPS) noted the country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew about 5.06 percent in the third quarter of 2017.
"It is higher than previous quarters," BPS chair Suhariyanto said.
Indonesia recorded an economic growth of 5.01 percent in the second quarter of 2017. The country also recorded an economic growth of 5.01 percent in the first quarter of 2017.
Indonesia's economy grew about 5.01 percent in the third quarter of 2016. The country's economy only grew about 4.77 percent in the third quarter of 2015.
"We hope for better performance in the next quarter," the BPS leader added.
