Jokowi Inaugurates 12 Indonesian Ambassadors

Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated 12 Indonesian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) at the State Palace, Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta on Monday.
 
The inauguration was based on Presidential Decrees Number 106/P of 2020 on the Appointment of Indonesian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
 
The ceremony was also attended by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi.

To tackle the spread of coronavirus, all participants wore face masks and kept a safe distance.
 
The ambassadors who were inaugurated by President Jokowi are, as follows:
 
1. Dindin Wahyudin, Indonesian Ambassador to Senegal, with concurrent accreditation to Mali, the Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone, Cote D'Ivoire, Gabon and DR Congo, residing in Dakar.
 
2. Roem Kono, Indonesian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, residing in Sarajevo.
 
3. Dewi Savitri Wahab, Indonesian Ambassador to Denmark, with concurrent accreditation to Lithuania, residing in Copenhagen.
 
Dubes LBBP RI untuk Kerajaan Denmark merangkap Republik Lithuania, berkedudukan di Kopenhagen.
 
4. Nana Yuliana, Indonesian Ambassador to Cuba, with concurrent accreditation to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Haiti, residing in Havana.
 
5. Heri Akhmadi, Indonesian Ambassador to Japan, with concurrent accreditation to Micronesia, residing in Tokyo.
 
6. Elmar Iwan Lubis, Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq, residing in Baghdad.
 
7. Iwan Bogananta, Indonesian Ambassador to Bulgara, with concurrent accreditation to Albania and North Macedonia, residing in Sofia.
 
8. Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, Indonesian Ambassador to Russia, with concurrent accreditation to Belarus, residing in Moscow.
 
9. Desra Percaya, Indonesian Ambassador to the United Kingdom (UK), with concurrent accreditation to Ireland and International Maritime Organization (IMO), residing in London.
 
10. Chalief Akbar Tjandraningrat, Indonesian Ambassador to Algeria, residing in Algiers.
 
11. Lutfi Rauf, Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt, residing in Cairo.
 
12. Rachmat Budiman, Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand, with concurrent accreditation to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), residing in Bangkok.
