Watford: Watford has signed Danny Welbeck on a free transfer following his release from Arsenal at the end of last season.
“It seems like a great club with the whole surrounding environment. It’s a family-orientated place and that’s something that I value very highly," he said in a press statement released on Thursday.
“I’ve played against Watford and I like to watch football so I’ve seen them play on TV a lot and I know the team, and I think this is a place where I can really flourish," he added.
The ex-Manchester United forward said Watford has a lot of talented players. He believes
that he can help the club to perform better this season.
“The squad we’ve got here is full of good players and people who I’m really looking forward to playing with and trying to push to that next level.” he added.
After five seasons, Welbeck decided to leave Arsenal. With the North London club, he collected 126 appearances, 32 goals, and 15 assists. (Translator: Rifqi Akbar)
