The arrest was confirmed by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri. The case is related to a hospital project in Cimahi. The anti-corruption agency is expected to reveal the detailed information in a press conference.
"Cimahi Mayor was arrested by KPK," Firli said here on Friday afternoon.

Besides the Cimahi mayor, KPK also arrested several other persons during the sting operation. They were arrested in Bandung, capital of West Java. KPK has to determine their status within the next 24 hours.
On Wednesday, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo was arrested in a sting operation by KPK investigators. He was named a suspect of lobster seed export graft case on the same day. The former lawmaker then stepped down as Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and Deputy Chairman of Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party.
