Jakarta: The Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling today announced tha that the total number of recovered covid-19 patients in Indonesia increased by 219 people to 5,057 people in the past 24 hours.
"219 recovered covid-19 patients were recorded today," government spokesperson on matters related to covid-19 Achmad Yurianto said here on Friday, April 22, 2020.
From Thursday noon until Friday noon, the total number of confirmed cases was up by 634 people to 20,796 people. Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed deaths rose by 48 people to 1,326 people.
"The total number of confirmed cases is 20,796 cases, while the total number of confirmed deaths is 1,326 patients," the Ministry of Health's directoral general of disease control and prevention stated.
As of today, 395 regencies and cities have been affected by the pandemic. To tackle the transmission of covid-19, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) have been enforced in several regions.
"We have to strengthen synergy between the central government, local governments, community units and neighborhood units," the spokesman stated.
