Jakarta: The recently appointed Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian has begun studying issues faced by his ministry.
“I will study the related problems faced by each of the ministry’s ten directorates general.” Said Tito on Thursday.
Tito will identify which problems should be immediately resolved and which ones can be quickly resolved, such as political stability and regional budget absorption.
“We will work really hard to maintain the political stability in order to prevent security disruptions as it is one of the Ministry’s roles," said Tito.
He will also look into the regional budget absorption. He will order the relevant director general to look into how effective and efficient the regional budget absorption has been in each region.
Tito has also been ordered to adjust his ministerial vision and mission with those of
the President’s, to develop human resources, to continue developing infrastructure and
to increase jobs.
