Dian Ediana Rae Inaugurated as PPATK Chief

Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has officially inaugurated Dian Ediana Rae as the head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
Dian replaced Kiagus Badaruddin who passed away in mid-March. He previously served as the deputy head of the finance intelligence unit.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. It was based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41/P of 2020 on the Honorable Discharge of Deputy Head of PPATK and Appointment of the Head of PPATK.

During the inauguration ceremony, dian took oath of office before President Jokowi. Afterwards, he signed the inauguration ceremony minutes and received congratulations from President Jokowi.
"I swear that I will carry out my duties and authority as the head of PPATK as well as possible and with full sense of responsibility," Dian said.
PPATK is tasked to counter suspected money laundering and provide information on terrorist financing. It was formed in April 2002.
