Jakarta: NasDem Party chairman Surya Paloh met with PKB chairman Muhaimin Iskandar at the NasDem Party headquarters in Central Jakarta on Monday afternoon.
"We didn't discuss about the upcoming cabinet. We only want to maintain solidarity," Muhaimin told reporters after the meeting.
"We didn't discuss about minister candidates. That is the prerogative of the president," the PKB leader noted.
According to NasDem Party secretary general Johnny G Plate, Golkar Party chairman Airlangga Hartarto and PPP acting chairman Suharso Monoarfa will also visit the NasDem Party head office. Johnny explained that the meetings will be informal.
Indonesia held a simultaneous general and presidential elections on April 17. Voters elected the president, vice president as well as members of national and local legislative bodies on the same day.
KPU concluded the vote recapitulation process at the national level on May 21. The agency named incumbent President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and his running mate Ma'ruf Amin as the winners of the 2019 presidential race.

According to KPU, Jokowi bagged 85,607,362 votes or 55.5 percent of the votes. On the other hand, Prabowo collected 68,650,239 votes or 45.5 percent of the votes.
In order to run for president, Jokowi was endorsed by PDIP, Golkar Party, PKB, NasDem Party, PPP, Hanura Party, Perindo Party, PSI, PKPI and PBB. In the meantime, Prabowo was supported by Gerindra Party, Democratic Party, PKS, PAN and Berkarya Party.
