Jakarta: The Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora) is set to hold a national meeting on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
One of the founders of the party, Mahfudz Siddiq, said the meeting will be attended by party initiators from all provinces in Indonesia. However, he denied that the meeting will also include a declaration.
"It will definitely be notified when the declaration will be done. This will just be a national gathering," said Siddiq, Jakarta on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
Siddiq said that Gelora Party has not officially become a legalized party. He explained there are stages that still need to be passed.
" Recruitment will only be conducted after the official declaration," added Siddiq.
The Indonesian Gelora Party was founded by former politicians from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), including former PKS president Anis Matta and former House of Representatives (DPR) Deputy Speaker Fahri Hamzah.
