Jakarta: The Bali provincial government has outlined a target to administer first doses of the covid-19 vaccine to 500 thousand people in the province in the subsequent 2 weeks.
"Last Monday, we had received an additional 501 thousand (doses of) the AstraZeneca vaccine and 170 thousand (doses of) the Sinovac vaccine," Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office Dr Ketut Suarjaya stated in Denpasar, capital of Bali Province, on Thursday.
Suarjaya noted that delivery of the covid-19 vaccine from the central government during the last week of April 2021 was once hindered owing to which the second vaccination of state apparatuses and personnel of several regional organizations got disrupted.
