Sri Mulyani Anticipates Influence of Coronavirus to Indonesian Market

Jakarta: Finance Minister Sri Mulyani anticipates an outbreak of the coronavirus on the Indonesian financial market. The deadly virus has affected the United States stock market (US).
"For the coronavirus, in terms of diseases and threats, we will continue to anticipate it," Ani said at the Dhanapala Building, Ministry of Finance, Jakarta on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
Ani explained the influence of the virus that has killed six people in China must be observed regionally and globally. The reason is, a similar event once shook the world financial markets when the SARS and H1N1 viruses struck.

The coronavirus has spread to the United States (US). One US citizen has been infected with the deadly virus from China. The Chinese National Health Commission announced that the virus can spread between people. Total deaths from this new virus has reached six people. While the total number of cases exceeds 200, which is a combination of China, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Australia and the US.
