Jakarta: Febri Diansyah, the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has decided to resign from the anti-corrution agency. His resignation letter has been delivered to KPK.
"The Human Resources Bureau has received his resignation letter," said KPK acting spokesperson Ali Fikri in a written statement on Thursday.
The former anti-corupption activist previously served as KPK spokesperson. He was then picked to lead the Public Relations Bureau.
"We do not know the reasons for the resignation," Ali stated.
According to the regulations, KPK needs a month to process his resisgnation. As a result, Febri can only leave his job a month after the submission of his resignation letter.
"It is in line with our rules and regulations," Ali concluded.
