Jakarta: Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators summoned PT Lippo Cikarang Land Acquisition Permit Department head Edi Dwi Soesianto and PT Lippo Cikarang Licensing Staff Satriyadi. Both will be questioned about an alleged bribery case related to the Meikarta project.
"They were investigated as witnesses to BTO (former President Director of PT Lippo Cikarang Bartholomeus Toto)," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said when confirmed, Jakarta on Thursday, December 19, 2019.
The KPK named Toto as a suspect in the bribery case in mid-2019. Toto was said to have given IDR10.5 billion for Meikarta's construction permit to then Bekasi Regent, Neneng Hassanah Yasin. However, Toto denied this accusation.
In total, there are 11 suspects in this case. Recently, the KPK named former West Java Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa as suspect.
Iwa allegedly received IDR900 million to smoothen the Regional Regulation on the Bekasi Regency Spatial Planning (RDTR) in the 2017 fiscal year. Meanwhile, Toto was allegedly assigned by Lippo Karawaci to 'complete' the Meikarta construction permit from Neneng.
Toto is alleged to have violated Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) and Article 55 paragraph (1).
Meanwhile, Iwa is alleged to have violated Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
