Bogor: Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairman Agus Rahardjo has encouraged the National Police and the Attorney General's Office (AGO) to strengthen their cooperation with the anti-corruption watchdog.
According to the KPK leader, the three law enforcement agencies need to increase their synergy in order to boost corruption eradication activities.
"I urge Attorney General (ST Burhanuddin) and National Police Chief (Idham Azis) to incrrease our synergy," Agus said here on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
Agus attended the National Coordination Meeting of Regional Leaders' Communication Forum in Sentul, Bogor, West Java today. He urged regional leaders to avoid corrupt practices.
"It is much better if we are able to prevent corrupt practices," the KPK chairman said.
The National Coordination Meeting was opened by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo this morning. The event was attended by thousands of national and local officials.
