Jakarta: President-elect Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo has pocketed the names and criteria for ministers in the upcoming cabinet.
"I have pocketed the names. I have prepared the blueprint," Jokowi said here on Friday.
"Some ministers may return. Let's see how it goes," Jokowi added.
The former Jakarta governor ensured the upcoming cabinet will consist of politicans and professionals. He asked his ruling coalition to propose young politicians or professionals.
"If political parties cannot find young politicians, we will find young professionals," Jokowi remarked.
"We can do it ourselves. We have many young professionals," Jokowi noted.
Indonesia held a simultaneous general and presidential elections on April 17. Voters elected the president, vice president as well as members of national and local legislative bodies on the same day.
The General Elections Commission (KPU) concluded the vote recapitulation process at the national level on May 21. The agency named the incumbent candidate and his running mate Ma'ruf Amin as the winners of the 2019 presidential race.
The Contistutional Court (MK) announced its ruling on presidential election dispute on June 27. MK judges rejected Prabowo Subianto-Sandidaga Uno presidential pair's legal challenge in its entirety.
According to KPU, Jokowi bagged 85,607,362 votes or 55.5 percent of the votes. On the other hand, Prabowo collected 68,650,239 votes or 45.5 percent of the votes.
In order to run for president, Jokowi was endorsed by PDIP, Golkar Party, PKB, NasDem Party, PPP, Hanura Party, PSI, PKPI and PBB. In the meantime, Prabowo was supported by Gerindra Party, Democratic Party, PKS, PAN and Berkarya Party.
