Jakarta: Indonesian National Police Chief Gen. Idham Azis instructed the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim) Inspector General Listyo Sigit to form the Investment Task Force. This task force is tasked with protecting all investment in Indonesia.
"I said earlier that there were a number of task forces that will be formed. One of them was the Investment Task Force," Idham said in South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
According to Idham, the Investment Task Force will ork with a number of related institutions or agencies including the Financial Services Authority (OJK)and Bank Indonesia (BI).
"To get together so that this task force can be more efficient after getting data (from OJK and Bank Indonesia)," Idham said.
In addition to the Investment Task Force, in the 2020 Indonesian Armed Forces-National Police (TNI-Polri) Leadership Meeting (Rapim), Idham alluded to forming a number of task forces. These Task Forces will be synergized with the ranks of the TNI so that the escort of government programs can run safely and smoothly.
