Jakarta: President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo held a meeting with a NasDem Party delegation at the Bogor Palace in Bogor city on Monday afternoon.
The delegation was led by NasDem Party chairman Surya Paloh. He was accompanied by NasDem Party secretary general Johnny G. Plate, NasDem Pary Faction Head Ahmad Ali and 34 regional executive board (DPW) heads.
"We met with President Jokowi at Bogor Palace. The delegation was led by NasDem Party chairman Surya Paloh," Johnny said here on Monday.
Indonesia held a simultaneous general and presidential elections on April 17. Voters elected the president, vice president as well as members of national and local legislative bodies on the same day.
The General Elections Commission (KPU) concluded the vote recapitulation process at the national level on May 21. The agency named the incumbent candidate and his running mate Ma'ruf Amin as the winners of this year's presidential race.
The Contistutional Court (MK) announced its ruling on presidential election dispute on June 27. MK judges rejected Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno presidential pair's legal challenge in its entirety.
According to KPU, Jokowi and Ma'ruf bagged 85,607,362 votes or 55.5 percent of the votes. On the other hand, Prabowo and Sandiaga collected 68,650,239 votes or 45.5 percent of the votes.
In order to run for president, Jokowi was endorsed by PDIP, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, PKB, PPP, Hanura Party, PSI, PKPI and PBB. In the meantime, Prabowo was supported by Gerindra Party, Democratic Party, PKS, PAN and Berkarya Party.
