"Concerning the formation of the Administrative Reform Commission which will discuss the planned changes to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the leadership of the MPR encourages factions and Regional Representative Council (DPD) to send their representatives," said MPR Chair Bambang Soesatyo in Jakarta on Friday, November 8, 2019.
Bambang asked political parties and DPD to send someone who is qualified in the field of state administration and has a clear track record and capabilities as well as understands the values of the Constitution.
According to Bambang, the commission will also discuss the propose reintroduction of the oulines of state's policy. In the near future, the MPR will hold an in-depth study involving civil society groups and experts. That way, there will be a common thread that is always connected from one generation to the next.
by reviving the oulines of state's policy, it is hope that Indonesia can have a clear road map for decades to come. In addition, the Indonesian people can also know what needs to be done in realizing these big ideals.
"Without a road map in the form of the Outlines of State's Policy we are worried that we are like a ship in the middle of an ocean that does not have a compass to guide us," Bambang concluded.
