Jakarta: The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) and the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) have a big task ahead of the recruitment of prospective civil servants (CPNS). They must ensure that the process can filter out ideologies other than Pancasila.
"In the CPNS entrance test, there must be a way to filter caliphate sympathisers to prevent them from joining the ASN (state civil apparatus)," Chairman of the Indonesian Employees' Corps (Korpri) Zudan Arif Fakrulloh told Medcom.id on Monday, November 4, 2019.
He saw the need for systematic efforts by the government so that there would be no ideology other than Pancasila in the Indonesian workforce. Moreover, CPNS registration was opened this month.
"BKN and Kemenpan RB to immediately formulate the efforts," said Zudan.
BKN and Kemenpan RB must select civil servants optimally. Specially to ensure the values of Panca Prasetya Korpri are implemented in the government.
In the first point of Panca Prasetya, ASN was sworn in as loyal and obedient to the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. No state servants can violate this oath.
"ASN must uphold the spirit of Pancasila and NKRI. We want to remind caliphate sympathizers that they are not what ASN stands for," he stressed.
ASN cannot threaten the existence of Pancasila in Indonesia. Zudan invited ASN members who still adhere to radical ideologies, to resign or be prepared to be let go.
"The caliphate ideology must be eradicated by instilling early on that it is a delusion, a dream that is not possible," he said.
