Jokowi Says He is Reluctant to Attend Groundbreaking Ceremony

Cilegon: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo said he is now reluctant to attend a groundbreaking ceremony of a project. He explained that he does not want to attend a dubious groundbreaking ceremony.
"For example, I once attended a groundbreaking ceremony of a project. However, I never received invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony. It turned out that the project was never continued," President Jokowi said here on Friday, December 6, 2019.
President Jokowi held a working visit to Banten province today. He attended the inauguration ceremony of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk's new factory in the morning.

The former Jakarta governor appreciated the company's commitment to build a new petrochemical factory. He believes that the new factory can help boost the country's petrochemical industry.
"This is what we need. We don't need plans. It is easy to talk," President Jokowi stated.
After Friday prayers, he will observe the implementation of Mekaar program in the province. In the afternoon, the former Jakarta governor will unveil the Kunciran-Serpong Section of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) II toll road.
During the visit, the president was accompanied by several ministers and other cabinet members. They are Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto, SOEs Minister Erick Thohir, SMEs and Cooperatives Minister Teten Masduki and Presidential Chief od Staff Moeldoko.
