Luhut. Chinese Foreign Minister Visit Lake Toba, Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Jakarta: Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has invited Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit Lake Toba, North Sumatra.
 
During the Chinese foreign minister's visit, the two officials discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
 
"The presence of my friend, Bapak Wang Yi, in Lake Toba is expected to boost cooperation between the two countries," said Luhut in a statement on Tuesday.
China's top diplomat is set to hold a meeting with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and paid a courtesty call on President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Jakarta on Wednesday.
 
Bapak Wang Yi will meet with the President tomorrow and will directly hear the President's expectactions," Jodi said.
 
After visiting Indonesia, the Chinese foreign minister will travel to Brunei and the Philippines. Early this week, he conducted a working visit to Myanmar.
