Jakarta: The Retail Sales Survey in September 2019 remained positive growth, despite slowing down, as confirmed by weaker Real Sales Index (RSI) growth from 1.1 percent (yoy) in August 2019 to 0.7% percent (yoy) in the reporting period.
"Steady retail sales grow positively supported by sales on Parts and Accessory Groups, as well as Other Household Equipment Groups," Bank Indonesia (BI) said in a written statement released on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.
In October 2019, retailers expected sales growth to regain momentum. It is indicative of the IPR of October 2019 which is projected to grow by 2.9 percent (YoY).
