Jakarta: Indosat Ooredoo recorded total revenue of Rp26.1 trillion in 2019, increasing 12.9 percent compared to the previous year.
Last year, the telecommunications provider recorded a cellular revenue of Rp20.7 trillion, growing by 14.7 percent compared to the previous year. In addition, the company recorded an EBITDA of Rp9.9 trillion, improving by 51.6 percent compared to the previous year.
By the end of 2019, the company's cellular subscriber numbers grew by 1.2 million to 59.3 million. Moreover its Average Revenue per User (ARPU) increased to Rp 27.9 thousand from previously Rp 18.7 thousand.

"Indosat Ooredoo also recorded net profit of RpR1,569.0 billion, increased by almost Rp4 trillion over net loss recorded in fiscal year 2018 primarily driven by EBITDA improvement and tower sale," Indosat Oooredoo said in a press release issued on Monday, February 24, 2020.
Operationally, Indosat Ooredoo successfully executed an intensive 4G network rollout, expanding 4G coverage from just 44 percent of the Indonesian population at the end of 2017 to nearly 90 percent in 2019 and measurably improving connection quality nationwide.
Indosat Ooreedoo also concluded the sale of the Company’s 3,100 telecommunication towers to PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) and PT Professional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) in an all-cash transaction amounting to Rp6.39 trillion.
