medcom.id, Manchester: Teror bom terjadi di Manchester Arena, Inggris, Senin 22 Mei waktu setempat. Ledakan yang terjadi selepas konser penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat (AS), Ariana Grande itu diduga berasal dari pelaku bom bunuh diri.

Beragam pihak langsung memberikan pesan belasungkawa atas kejadian nahas tersebut. Termasuk sejumlah klub sepak bola asal Inggris.

"Kami sangat terkejut ketika mengetahui kabar nahas di Manchester Arena. Kami turut berduka dan mendoakan yang terbaik untuk para korban," tulis pernyataan Manchester United.

Sejumlah pesepak bola dan mereka yang sudah pensiun juga langsung menunjukkan empati. Media sosial Twitter menjadi wadah mereka unguk mengucapkan belasungkawa.

Dari data yang disebut pihak kepolisian kepada sejumlah media Inggris, sebanyak 22 pengunjung dinyatakan tewas dan 50 orang luka-luka hingga saat ini. Beberapa korban diduga meninggal dunia atau terluka akibat terinjak-injak di tengah kerumunan yang mengalami kepanikan.
